DPM (Defects Per Million)
DPM measures the number of defects per million opportunities. It's a key metric in quality management that helps organizations understand their defect rate and track improvements over time.
DPPM (Defective Parts Per Million)
DPPM calculates the number of defective parts per million units produced. Unlike DPM which counts defects, DPPM counts defective units regardless of how many defects each unit contains.
Sigma Level
Sigma level is a statistical measure of process capability. It indicates how well a process performs compared to its specification limits. Higher sigma levels indicate better process performance.
CP & CPK
CP and CPK are process capability indices that measure how well a process can meet specification limits. CP measures potential capability, while CPK measures actual capability considering process centering.
